"Order and
Chaos"
New Work by John Yothers

through March 29, 2008.
Yothers new work ranges from the naturalistic
to highly surrealistic. A passionate interest in physics and the
chaos and randomness of nature is examined in his surrealist work.
Often very intricate and detailed, the pieces ranges in size from
small, intimate drawings and watercolors to large oil paintings.
Exhibiting with John will be selected works by
sons Adam and Dillon Yothers. Yothers maintains a studio in Washington,
Pennsylvania. A seasoned and accomplished artist, Yothers has
received numerous awards, which include: Pittsburgh Society of
Artists, Westmoreland County Museum Exhibitions, Washington &
Jefferson College National Painting Show, various corporate sponsored
exhibitions and Three Rivers Arts Festival.
Yothers an educator for many years is currently
an Adjunct Professor of Fine Art and Education at Washington and
Jefferson College.
His work may be found in several private, collegiate,
church, and corporate collections.
