It wasn’t until I was challenged by a commission to do a series of red pieces that my pallet expanded exponentially. Driven principally by scenes in nature, I have always tried to reproduce the energy my eye captures and the feeling it evokes within me. With “riversunset” the subtle relationships of color and the forms they create danced in front of me on an evening in 2006 here in Pittsburgh.
